After making cotton rugs in India for over 15 years, we decided to apply our cotton weaving expertise to make a mat that is dedicated to the practice of yoga. Our handmade yoga mats are extremely strong. They are guaranteed for 15 years, but you can expect them to last a lifetime.

The mats are hand-woven on manual looms in the ancient region of India that was the birthplace of yoga. Yogasana produces a classic and traditional yoga mat cotton mats date back to the origin of the practice.

Yogasana mats are 24" x 72" slightly longer than a standard yoga mat. They are reversible and cold water washable. They can be used indoors or outdoors. We offer 7 colors of yoga mats. 5 named for the elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. We also have Spring and Saffron.
